PAID EDITORIAL INTERNSHIPS AT THE SOUTH FLORIDA SUN SENTNEL

We’re offering seven paid internships for the summer of 2015. This is an intensive 11-week program, from June to mid August, which offers hands-on experience and training in a dynamic newsroom setting.

Interns are paid minimum wage and they get to report and write the news, shoot and edit photo and video and design, for print and digital, and across all platforms. We offer internships in any of the following news departments: Metro, features, sports, business, design, photo-video and Spanish–language weekly, El Sentinel.

And we allow for cross-training among departments.

Candidates must have completed basic journalism courses, have some experience working for a campus newspaper or off-campus publication, or have completed another media internship. We prefer juniors and seniors.
